Last time I updated this I was saying how much work on my cosplays I was doing. More specifically, it was all work on the Aerith Cosplay, which (as you can probably tell by the photos) didn't come out too bad, but wasn't amazing either.

Shortly after the Kingdom Hears party (where Aerith was worn) I began work on the costumes for the October MCM Expo in London. These consisted of two costumes which were to be worn on the Saturday and Sunday. One was Nausicaa from Gibli's Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind, and the other was my all time favourite Simca from Air Gear.

Much time, money, blood and sweat was spent making these costumes over the next two and a half months just doing little bits now and again and adding onto each costume as oppatunities arose. In the last month I was back at Uni and desperatly getting the costumes done. For the entire week before the expo I was working on the tiny, fidly details non-stop. It's annoying how they were only small jobs but took so long to do! Then again, if a job's not worth doing well it's not worth doing at all.

So! My costumes done and stuff packed it was off to the London Expo! Woot! I left on Friday with Busty who, along with Mini and Bossy formed the Otaku-Trioka . The Otaku-Trioka are the cosplay group they've named themselves and have adopted me into their group as 'Snappy' the official photographer ^-^

And Snap away I did. Over 350 photos over the course of Saturday and Sunday.

Saturday was horrible and wet and cold, but running around in the thick Nausicaa costumes it soon became too warm XD
Busty was cosplaying Sen from Princess Monoke, Mini was Odett from Swan Princess, and Bossy was Anastasia from...Anastasia ^^.

Sunday was much, much better. Clear cold skies and the change in clock times meant we got an extra hour to our day! Which Mini, Bossy and I spend skating outside in our Air Gear cosplays! (Busty was ill but recovered and joined us later).
I was Simca, Busty was Ume, Mini was Mikan and Bossy was Ringo. The costumes were a HUGE success! We recieved a lot of attention for them and really enjoyed ourselves.

Now I could bitch about the other cosplay but I'd rather keep this on a positive note ^^. Therefore cosplay aside, the convention itself was fantastic! As busy as alwasys with so much going on that there wasn't enough time to do everything. But I did get Paul Duffield's signiture who is the artist of Freak Angels, and excelent web comic which is a must read! [link]

And without any more delay I'll stick up some of the cosplay photos. Only problem is, with so many pictures I can only put the ones up of the Trioka and myself. But I shall work out where else would be best ^^ Promise!
